about 6 months ago my parents fronted me 1500 dollars for me to go back to school. there were alot of complications with my application process and due to my poor performance the semester before i left i had a debt ot the school before i could get classes. my mom somehow managed to get the money even though the families been in debt since 2010 from medical bills and bill payments we knew we couldn’t make when my father was unemployed.
today is going to be my 7th day in a row at work. and it will be my 3rd shift that goes past 6 hours. i keep telling myself im doing it for the money but its become much more than that. im doing it because i want to pay off my own credit card, my car, and afew miscellaneous things so i can give money back to my parents. i get about 500 back from my financial aid after payments are made and i want all of it to go back to them. 40 hours isn’t to get that new jersey i want (i really really want a bulls jersey) or to get money for another disneyland pass…its to let my parents know i never forgot the sacrafice they made so that i can go back and get an education.
